I’ve always been a fan of seafood marinara pasta. The last few summers I’ve been catching sand crabs and searching the beaches at low tide for fresh mussels that cling to the rocks, collecting ingredients for this (now favourite) summer dish. Sand and shore crabs are a real delicacy, and they’re not able to be caught everywhere, but check your beaches for whatever crabs are available for catching. Luckily, for me, catching crabs is relatively easy. Their meat is as sweet as lobster (although a bit more time consuming to get to) and they make an excellent stock.
